FMC reviews 13 OTI applications, revokes 13 licenses    The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 13 ocean transportation intermediary license applications for review.
   The agency received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Lorimer Cargo Express, Miramar, Fla. (Rafael G. Polanco, president); La Ocean Freight, Rowland Heights, Calif. (Christin Liu, president); Comis International, Torrance, Calif. (Frank Noah, sole proprietor); and Advanced Marketing Services, San Diego, Calif. (Bruce C. Myers, president).
   The FMC received NVO-ocean freight forwarder license applications from United Global Logistics, Floral Park, N.Y. (Mohamed Yeheya Khan, president); Marine Services International, Cleveland (Michelle Lynn Frank, president); Panda Logistics USA, East Rancho Dominguez, Calif. (Cooper Chao, chief executive officer); Royal Pacific Shipping Co., Newark, N.J. (Atta Boamah, president); Santo Domingo Shipping, Miami (Carlos J. Rodriguez, president); DFYoung-Del Med, Berwyn, Pa. (Aaron Wesley Wyatt IV, vice president); Yavid Corp., Miami (Luis Vidal, president); and ACE Logistics, Las Vegas (Mamerto S. Mercado, operating manager).
   The agency also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Login Logistics, Los Angeles (Steen Marcuslund, manager); and Upak WeShip, Jessup, Md. (Allison Elizabeth Kane, president).
   Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington at (202) 523-5843.
   The FMC revoked 13 OTI licenses for failure to maintain valid bonds. The firms are Akamai Freight Services, Phoenix, Ariz.; Arrow Worldwide Logistics, El Segundo, Calif.; Canon Express, Los Angeles; Gift and Parcel, San Francisco; Global Parcel System, Miami; JX Global, Carson, Calif.; Merzario USA, New York; Plane Cargo, Grapevine, Texas; Reiko Gibbs Soejima and James Thomas, Long Beach, Calif.; Samari Global Trade, Bronx, N.Y.; Sentry Cargo International, Miami; Stern, Rogers & Co., New York; and Wastaki Freight International, Miramar, Fla.
