The agency received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Sobe Enterprises, Miami (Claude Sterling, president); Intermodal Container Logistics, Oak Park, Ill. (Stephen D. Hossa, president); and Im-Ex Global, Clayton, Calif. (Vivian Yoon, president).
The FMC also received an ocean freight forwarder license application from Empire Shipping Co., Newark, N.J. (Alex Oset-Kwame, president).
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington at (202) 523-5843.
The FMC revoked two OTI licenses for failure to maintain valid bonds. The firms are Great Way Trading & Transportation of South San Francisco, Calif.; and JP Express Shipping in Bronx, N.Y.
