FMC reviews 5 Florida OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received five Florida ocean transportation intermediary license applications for review.

The agency received a non-vessel-operating common carrier license application from Miami Envios Express, Miami (Mauricio Perez, president).

The FMC received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Caribbean Cargo Agencies, Miami (Lilia F. Dorticos, president); and Futura Logistics Corp., Miami (Rodolfo Perez, president).

The agency also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Barcol International Corp., Miami (Jun Salvat, president); and Ecuamerica International, Tampa, Fla. (Susana de la Llana, president).

Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license are urged to contact the FMC's Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington at (202) 523-5843.
