FMC seeks comments on accessibility to China trade
The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission wants the shipping industry to provide feedback on its ability to operate in China’s ocean transportation business and the effects of the U.S.-China bilateral maritime agreement signed Dec. 8.
The FMC said it seeks these comments from shippers, ocean transportation intermediaries, vessel operators and others in the industry. Comments are due to the agency by June 1.
