Former CMA CGM exec recommended for Long Beach post
Port of Long Beach Executive Director Richard D. Steinke announced he
is recommending the appointment of J. Christopher Lytle, a former vice
president with French liner carrier CMA CGM (America) Inc., as the port’s managing director of trade relations and port operations.
Lytle would oversee the trade relations and port operations bureau for the Southern California port. His responsibilities would include the communications, trade relations, security and maintenance divisions.
Steinke’s recommendation will go to the Long Beach Board of Harbor
Commissioners for a vote at the board’s regularly scheduled meeting
Monday, Aug. 28.
