Former DHL executive named APL LogisticsÆ VP of contract logistics
Peter Knapp has been named to the newly created position of vice president of contract logistics for supply chain firm APL Logistics.
In the new role, the longtime DHL executive will be responsible for APL Logistics' warehousing and related businesses such as distribution and related primary transportation services. Knapp served for 12 years as DHL's vice president of business development.
Knapp is expected to expand APL Logistics' role in managing dedicated as well as multiuser facilities. While based in Singapore, he will work closely with the firm's global contract logistics operations, the company said.
