Forum set for south Miami-Dade FTZ

A business forum on import and export opportunities in southern Miami-Dade County has been schedule for November 16 at the Homestead campus of Miami-Dade College.

   The featured speaker will be Fred Glickman, managing director, international offices, of Enterprise Florida, the state agency similar to a commerce department.

   The forum is being sponsored by the City of Homestead Community Redevelopment Agency, the Vision Council, and the Vision Foreign Trade Zone Inc.

   Mike Richardson, the president of the Vision Foreign Trade Zone, and Horacio Rossi, the vice president of the Florida Foreign Trade Association, Inc. will also participate in the event.

   The cost is $35 and includes lunch. The forum will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 500 College Terrace, Building F, Room 222.
