Forward Air posts profit, names new CEO
Forward Air has promoted Bruce Campbell to be chief executive officer of the Greenville, Tenn.-based trucking company that specializes in delivering air cargo to and from airports.
Campbell, who has served as chief operating officer for 13 years and president since 1998, replaces Scott Niswonger, who will remain as non-executive chairman of the board.
The company reported a third-quarter profit of $6.3 million, an increase of 37 percent from the same period in 2002.
