Forwarder network rebrands
A U.S.-based network of independent freight forwarders started 15 years ago as the High-Tech Forwarder Network has changed its name to HTFN, adding a tag 'Global Logistics Partner' in a move intended to reflect the changing capabilities of its members.
The name change was endorsed by members earlier this year and the group formally introduced a new logo and new Web site Monday. A statement said the changes were meant 'to reflect the comprehensive nature of its services.'
HTFN said that at its annual worldwide conference of members set for this October in Toronto is would introduce members to a new marketing campaign designed to demonstrate the organization's abilities to potential shipping clients.
