Four Soft buys FWL Technologies assets

Four Soft buys FWL Technologies assets    Hyderabad, India-based Four Soft Ltd. (4S), a developer of enterprise operating platforms, has acquired shipping software company FWL Technologies, located in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
   The unspecified cash transaction was conducted by 4S’s wholly owned subsidiary Four Soft UK Ltd. in Nottingham, U.K. and includes all IP, staff, customer contracts and business assets. The FWL name will be dropped.
   “With this acquisition, 4S expands into the liner shipping software business while further consolidating its coverage in the transportation and logistics vertical,” 4S said in a statement.
   The company said it expects the acquired operation to contribute revenue of about $6.5 million per year.
