FourKites partners with BluJay Solutions

The partnership is bringing together BluJay’s transportation management solutions with FourKites’ real-time freight visibility and orchestration platform.    Logistics software providers FourKites and BluJay Solutions entered into a formal partnership, bringing together BluJay’s transportation management solutions with FourKites’ real-time freight visibility and orchestration platform, FourKites said Tuesday.
   The two companies believe increased visibility results in reduced wait times, fewer stock-outs and faster inventory turns, FourKites explained.
   “With the integrated FourKites shipment tracking platform, users of BluJay’s Transportation Management solution can improve visibility of all shipments and ETAs,” FourKites CEO and Founder Matt Elenjickal said. “Companies can better manage inventory and resources to produce real savings.”
   “FourKites’ ability to track shipments across multiple modes, including truckload, less-than-truckload, parcel, rail and intermodal, enhances the value to our customers with greater visibility and exception management for all loads and shipments,” BluJay Solutions Chief Commercial Officer Dan Vertachnik said.
   BluJay Solutions is the new brand of Kewill and LeanLogistics, which merged last year when LeanLogistics’ parent company, Brambles, sold LeanLogistics to Kewill for $115 million.
