FPS EXPANDS CONSOLIDATIONS SERVICES IN CHINA    Famous Pacific Shipping, a Hong Kong-based non-vessel-operating common carrier, continues to increase its freight consolidation activities in China.
   “Expanding our activities in China is one of the key development areas for the Famous Pacific Shipping Group,” said Benny Ling, the company’s chairman. “Opening more offices, growing our traffic volumes and offering more services are all crucial elements of expanding our presence in this huge and developing market.”
   From Shanghai, FPS recently started direct container services to Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila, Auckland, Dubai, Durban, Istanbul, Aarhus, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Miami, Buenos Aires and Manzanillo.
   In Shenzhen, FPS initiated new direct services to Central and South America to go along with similar services to South East Asia, North America, India, the Middle East and Europe.
   FPS Xiamen opened a sub-office in Zhangzhou in late June. The NVO also recently increased its office size in Ningbo and Shanghai to account for increase freight volumes.
