Austal Ships, the builder of the fast trimaran, said the new Australian fast ferry will be delivered later this year.
Replacing a smaller vessel of the same name, the new 127-meter-long ship will sail fully loaded at speeds of more than 40 knots. It will provide capacity for 1,350 passengers, more than 340 cars and more than 400 freight lane-meters.
