FREIGHTGATE EXPANDS OPERATIONS IN MIDWEST
Freightgate has opened an office in Chicago to expand its presence in the Midwest and East Coast.
The Huntington Beach, Calif.-based firm develops Internet applications for the freight and logistics industry. Some of its clients are BAX Global, CaroTrans, GeoLogistics, NACA Logistics Group, Schenker and Shipco Transport.
“As we continue to increase our growth each year, and as our products continue to take hold within different sectors of the industry, we have seen the need to diversify our service points and, from a sales standpoint, tap the benefits of increased geographical exposure and penetration,” said Lawrence R. Graf III, director of business development for Freightgate.
The company also has an office in Marseilles, France, to provide service to the European market.
