The joint venture, called FreightMatrix-Africa, will build on eFreight’s inroads into the online African logistics market in the last year.
FreightMatrix’s “hosted service model, in the light of heightened African trade volumes with the U.S., is the right solution at the right time,” said Gus Klohn, chief executive officer of eFreight.
Pilot projects will begin in March, and a fully operation exchange is scheduled to be up and running by May.
