FreightPath introduces new air cargo software

FreightPath introduces new air cargo software    FreightPath LLC has introduced a new software system for air cargo operations that the company said is an affordable alternative to legacy information technology systems for air freight.
   Officials from Marietta, Ga.-based FreightPath, a 2004 spinoff from Fountainhead International LLC, a logistics software provider for freight forwarders and 3PLs, said the new FreightPath Airline Cargo System 'delivers all the flexibility and functionality of world-class cargo management software without the enormous price tag embedded in legacy systems.'
   The new software system is targeted for to the IT needs of all-cargo airlines, small to mid-sized passenger carriers with cargo operations, and general sales agents.
