FRITZ TO PARTICIPATE IN EU CUSTOMS PROJECT
Fritz Cos., the San Francisco-based forwarder, said it will participate in the Single European Authorization trade facilitation project that seeks to simplify customs and duty requirements in the European Union.
The SEA hopes to make it possible for importers in Europe to make duty payments and control licensing and standards through one customs authority, regardless of where their goods are imported into the EU, a Fritz official said.
Fritz operates a customs processing office in London covering all of Europe.
