FROM2.COM HIRES FORMER SENIOR U.S. CUSTOMS OFFICIALS, the Miami-based forwarder, warehousing and service provider for international e-commerce, has hired former U.S. Customs Service officials Samuel Banks and Lenny Feldman to work on the company’s international trade compliance initiatives.

   Banks, former deputy commissioner of the Customs Service, was named chief customs officer of Feldman, previously a senior attorney with the U.S. Customs Service, was appointed chief compliance officer and vice president of customs affairs. also announced the opening of an office of trade compliance in the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.

   The company said that the opening of the trade compliance office “is the next logistical step for us in promoting and expanding’s solution to global e-commerce by merging trade compliance with technology and logistics.” said that a patent for its “Global Delivered Cost Calculator(tm)” landed cost software is pending.
