FROM2.COM SIGNS UP B2B PROVIDER
Miami-based logistics service provider From2.com has been appointed by 1hemisphere.com, an international business-to-business trade portal for small and medium businesses, to provide logistics support and shipping services to the company’s customers in the Americas.
From2.com’s service includes its Global Delivered Cost Calculator, trade compliance support, customs brokerage and transportation services.
1hemisphere will enable its business users to have access via a Web-based interface to From2.com’s landed cost information software.
From2.com will provide 1hemisphere’s customers with real-time, all-inclusive delivered cost quotes. It will also provide the ability to track goods, with delivery to anywhere in the Americas, a spokesman for 1hemisphere said.
Citing a study by Forrester Research, From2.com said that 85 percent of online companies surveyed still cannot fill international orders because of, among other things, their inability to price total delivery costs.
