Fujitsu chooses Cincom for kiosk logistics

   Fujitsu Frontech North America, a manufacturer of kiosks and self-checkout systems, has selected Cincom Systems’ Cincom Acquire to improve its configuration, quotes, and logistics processes for its kiosk operations.
   Kevin Judd, Fujitsu Frontech’s director of self-order technology, said the complexity of its offerings – both the devices themselves and what they can store – as well as their previous manual process for verifying orders and device configurations often led to delays in price quotes and efficiency disruptions.
   Fujitsu said it hopes the partnership will provide substantial profit improvement through more accurate device configurations, quicker quotes and proposals that will decrease the time to close a sale and improve overall sales revenue.
   Cincom Acquire, the platform to be used, is a multi-channel, multi-currency, and multi-lingual selling solution that automates the configuration, pricing and quoting (CPQ) of complex products and services. It streamlines the sales process and the company said it reduces proposal generation time and closes deals up to 80 percent faster.
