Future cargo flights from Texas to North Pole likely A website with the name https://thelongestlistofthelongeststuffatthelongestdomainnameatlonglast.com claims that in 2003, 20,000 children used 2,477,140 LEGO blocks to build a 3,451-foot-long millipede.
If it needs a home, we think we've found it.
The contract logistics provider Exel has leased a 402,500 square-foot speculative building from Hillwood Development, developer of the Perot family’s AllianceTexas logistic park.
The Roanoke, Texas building will be used by Exel as the exclusive North American distribution center for its customer, LEGO Systems, the maker of those knobby stacking blocks and other toys for children.
“Key factors in Exel selecting the AllianceTexas facility are its location within the foreign trade zone and its proximity to Interstate 35W,” said Tony Femia, director of leasing for Exel. “This AllianceTexas location also allows Exel the ability to continue to maximize and exchange our resources at our existing facilities in the development.”
Including this new facility, Exel operates close to 2 million square feet at AllianceTexas. Its customers consist of a number of global firms, such as General Mills and LEGO Systems.
