FUTURE SHOP PICKS EXEL FOR SELECTED CANADIAN SITES    Future Shop, a retailer of consumer electronics products in Canada, has contracted with Exel Direct, the product-fulfillment business unit of Exel, to manage delivery services for customers in Ottawa, Alberta, and British Columbia.
   The agreement extends Exel Direct’s service relationship with Future Shop, which began with home deliveries in Toronto in 1998. The new sites include the cities of Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.
   Operating directly out of Future Shop’s major distribution hubs, Exel Direct provides in-home delivery of big-screen televisions and other major appliances from Future Shop, including dispatching, routing, order confirmation, and retail replenishment.
