G-LOG EXPANDS IN EUROPE, NAMES CFO

G-LOG EXPANDS IN EUROPE, NAMES CFO    G-Log, which provides collaborative logistics and transportation software for enterprise and logistics service providers, has acquired a German company, named a chief financial officer and introduced a new version of its software.
   G-Log acquired Huerth, Germany-based Move IT Logistics Information, which operates in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Manfred Krueger, regional director, Central Europe and founder of Move IT, will lead the new company, G-Log GmbH.
   Steven F. Schiffman has been named CFO of G-Log. A 15-year veteran of international finance, Schiffman was CFO of an international telecommunications company. He has expertise in capital structuring and funding; mergers and acquisitions; and tax and strategic planning.
   The company has also released Version 3.0 of its software, which allows customers to manage their order and shipment data through a streamlined data entry process.
   Customers can automatically capture information about their shipments, notify all involved parties and take necessary actions. In addition, customers can add their logos, branding schemes, colors to the solution, G-Log said.
