The software allows customers to book cargo shipments and communicate with customs brokers and freight forwarders. The 3.5 edition includes supply chain event management functions, the means to optimize distribution centers, ocean shipping functions, and improved configurability.
The software’s user interface is decoupled from data through the use of XML style sheets. In version 3.5, clients can use the XML style sheet to define an object called “My Favorite Order Screen,” determining its location and content.
The new 3.5 edition, which starts at $500,000, can cost up to $4 million in complex applications.
