G6 Alliance merges services

The carrier group will combine the NYE and SCE services as part of its winter program.    The G6 Alliance will merge the NYE and SCE services as part of its Asia to U.S. East Coast winter program.
   This program responds to seasonal changes in market demand and will begin on the Oct. 30 sailing of the Hyundai Glory.
   It will depart from the port of origin, Xiamen, before continuing the new rotation, which is Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Yantian, Shanghai (Yangshan), Busan, Manzanillo (Panama), Kingston, Savannah, Charleston, New York, Norfolk, Jacksonville, Kingston, Manzanillo (Panama), Balboa, Busan, and Xiamen.
   Like the previous NYE and SCE services, the combined service is predicted to operate 10 vessels on a 70-day rotation.
