GAC opens office in Mozambique
The GAC Group said last week it has opened an office in Mozambique to focus on the country’s growing oil and gas, mining, and energy supply industries.
The company will provide inland logistics services as well as services to ship owners. The new office is located in the capital, Maputo, with a second office in Beira to open soon.
“Increasing bulk cargoes volumes coming through Maputo due to regional port congestion and the country's fledgling coal industry will add up to a busy 2009 and beyond for Mozambique,” said Erland Ebbersten, GAC's regional director.
