GARCIA NOMINATED ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF COMMERCE FOR EXPORT ENFORCEMENT

GARCIA NOMINATED ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF COMMERCE FOR EXPORT ENFORCEMENT    President Bush has nominated Michael J. Garcia to assistant secretary of Commerce for Export Enforcement.
   Garcia has served as an assistant U.S. attorney for New York’s Southern District since 1992. Prior to that, he was a law clerk for Hon. Judith S. Kaye on the New York State Court of Appeals for two years, and was with New York law firm Cahill Gordon & Reindel.
