The U.K.-based logistics services provider is enhancing its presence in the transpacific trade and has targeted growth through its U.S. Southeast operation.
Gatlin began his career in 1976 with a steamship agency in Norfolk, Va. In 1978, he joined a local forwarder/customs broker where he worked until 1985 when he switched to Schenker, working in the air and ocean export department and later as a branch manager in Louisville, Charlotte, Charleston and Atlanta. He was most recently Schenker’s director of strategic ocean accounts and programs.
