GEOLOGISTICS LAUNCHES HOME DELIVERY UNIT

GEOLOGISTICS LAUNCHES HOME DELIVERY UNIT
    GeoLogistics Corp. has set up an operating unit called HomeDirect USA
to market integrated, third-party residential delivery and logistics services to
retailers.
    HomeDirect USA will operate as a separate division of GeoLogistics
Network Solutions, which formerly operated under the name Bekins High Value Products
Worldwide Logistics.
    GeoLogistics Network Solutions provides logistics services to
business-to-business and business-to-consumer manufacturers, distributors and retailers of
electronics and other high-value goods.
    HomeDirect says it will provide delivery to any home in the U.S., plus
warehousing, inventory management, assembly, weekend deliveries and marketing services.
    The move into home delivery by GeoLogistics comes as experts are
predicting the market will grow significantly in coming years as Internet retailing
expands.
