Germanischer Lloyd names Enning China manager
German classification society Germanischer Lloyd has appointed Werner Enning as its area manager for China, replacing Hergen Thielemann.
Enning joined the Hamburg-based classification society in 1977 and has previously held the posts of the principal surveyor in Japan, Korea, Libya and Iran.
In March, Germanischer Lloyd opened its ninth office in Chinese in Ningbo and plans to open another two before the end of the year.
