GF-X, TRAXON EUROPE CONSIDER COOPERATION

GF-X, TRAXON EUROPE CONSIDER COOPERATION    Global Freight Exchange and TRAXON Europe are considering working together to provide enhanced systems and integration between booking transaction and operational shipment management processes for air cargo.
   The two companies are in discussions. “This is a great opportunity to offer additional benefits to our end-users by providing an efficient and seamless ‘hand-over’ from the booking to the operational management process,” said Petros Demetriades, technology director for GF-X.
   GF-X is a reservation system for the air-cargo industry. The system processes about 40,000 bookings a month between airlines and freight forwarders.
   TRAXON Europe provides the air-cargo industry with value-added and logistics systems and support.
