GIBSON NAMED VP OF UNITED CARGO
United Airlines has appointed Roger Gibson as vice president of United Cargo.
Gibson, who replaces Jim Hartigan, will oversee United’s nearly $1-billion cargo business, which includes general freight as well as postal sales.
Gibson was United’s vice president of North America mountain region. He joined the Chicago-based airline in 1967, and has held numerous management positions in maintenance and cargo warehouse operations, system distribution, resource planning and quality control.
