Apex Logistics Group serves an extensive client base, including Anheuser Busch, Del Monte, JR Simplot, Kroger, Niagara, Sysco and US Foods.
GlobalTranz made three other acquisitions in 2017, including Global Freight Source, Logistics Planning Services and Worthington Logistics.
During the third quarter of 2017, GlobalTranz recorded a 42 percent year-over-year boost in revenues, while earnings grew 70 percent.
Looking ahead, a GlobalTranz spokesperson told American Shipper Thursday, “Acquisitions are expected to continue in 2018 and beyond as part of our growth strategy. We are experiencing significant growth from both organic and strategic efforts.”
