Globe ExpressÆ Canadian unit opens Montreal office Manlog Logistics Canada, a wholly owned subsidiary of Charlotte, N.C.-based third-party logistics firm Globe Express Services, has opened an office in Montreal, Quebec.
   The company already has corporate locations in Toronto, Ontario and Vancouver, British Columbia
   'Although the U.S. remains Canada's largest trade partner, its trade with the Far East is growing at an impressive pace,' said Tony Bikhazi, Globe's president, North and South America, 'With Globe’s long-established infrastructure in Asia, we find ourselves in a great position to provide logistics solutions in this growing market.'
   David Pupco, Manlog's vice president, Canada, said: 'We are working to develop import/export and special project cargo solutions by land, sea and air for Canada's growing global industries. We are also in the process of launching weekly LCL (less-than-containerload) services to the Caribbean. By establishing offices in Canada's three largest cities, we are well-positioned for today's trade market and ready for the future.'
