Globe Express opening offices in Vietnam, India
Charlotte, N.C.-based third-party logistics firm Globe Express Services will Monday open a sales office in Hanoi, Vietnam, and will soon add another two offices in India.
The opening of a the Hanoi office comes a year after the company’s Ho Chi Minh branch was granted Joint Venture status by the central Vietnamese government.
“Globe Express Services believes in the growth potential of Vietnam as an emerging economy,” said Georges Mejaes, Globe’s Far East regional director. “Many of our customers have expressed a strong interest in Vietnam suppliers, and we want to ensure we are well positioned in this particular market.”
Meanwhile, Globe is adding two new offices in Chennai and Bangalore, located in the southern part of India, which will bring the company’s total number of offices in the country to seven.
