Globe Express opens first Japan office

Globe Express opens first Japan office    Charlotte, N.C.-based third-party logistics firm Globe Express Services has expanded to Japan by opening a corporate office in Tokyo.
   “Japan is setting a blistering pace in its trade with China,” said Ziad Korban, Globe’s chairman and chief executive officer. “Couple that with traditionally strong Japan/U.S. cargo flows and you’ll see why Globe is setting up shop in Tokyo.”

   During 2006, Globe opened seven other new corporate offices in the following countries: Canada, Brazil, Turkey, Malaysia, China and Vietnam.
