Globe Express opens second office in Malaysia Globe Express Services has opened a second branch office in Malaysia, located in Johor Bahru (the capital of the federal state of Johor), the third-party logistics services provider said Thursday.
   The new office is located at the southern tip of the Malaysian peninsula, across from Singapore. Johor Bahru has become a vital industrial and commercial hub within the global shipping industry, GES said in a release. The addition of GES-Johor Bahru also comes one and a half years after the opening of GES-Port Klang, the company's first office in Malaysia.
   'Many of Globe Express's Malaysian suppliers and customers are located in the southern region of the country,' said Georges Mejaes, Regional Director Far East for Globe Express, in a statement. 'Therefore, we believe that the new setup in Johor Bahru can better cater to our customers' shipping and customer service needs.”
