Globe Express Services opens West Coast office

Globe Express Services opens West Coast office Third-party logistics provider Globe Express Services Ltd. (GES) has expanded to the U.S. West Coast to serve the Pacific region with the opening of a corporate office in Los Angeles.
   GES Los Angeles opened Aug. 1 providing core 3PL services such as air and ocean imports and exports, and customhouse brokerage. Additionally the office will offer warehousing and distribution solutions, including deconsolidation, trans-loading and expedited trucking.
   'Southern California represents the premier U.S. gateway for global trade and commerce,” said Tony Bikhazi, GES president for the Americas. “With so much happening at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach in terms of the introduction of new legislation and surcharges, we feel it's imperative to expand our operations on the ground there. This office will serve not only the interests of our West Coast-based customers, but also GES clients nationwide using L.A.-Long Beach as a gateway and distribution hub.'
