GOODYEAR BRAZIL PICKS VASTERA IMPORT/EXPORT SOFTWARE    Goodyear Brazil has selected Vastera, Inc. to provide trade software.
   The tire and rubber producer said that Vastera’s TradeSphere service will provide it with greater visibility and control over its trade operations in Brazil.
   “Because TradeSphere is a single, integrated export and import solution, it will allow us to identify duty drawback opportunities more quickly, ultimately enabling us to take advantage of tax suspension benefits sooner,” a spokesman for Goodyear Brazil said.
   Goodyear Brazil has selected Vastera’s software to facilitate duty drawback, generate international shipping documents, perform regulatory compliance checks and manage the license determination and facilitation processes.
