Grand Alliance to add 9th ship to EU2 to stay on schedule    Grand Alliance member lines Hapag-Lloyd, NYK Line, OOCL and MISC Berhad will from early 2007 add a ninth ship to their weekly Asia/Europe/Mediterranean/Middle East EU2 service “to improve the schedule reliability.”
   The EU2 calls Kaohsiung, Shekou, Yantian, Hong Kong, Singapore, Le Havre, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Southampton, Gioia Tauro, Jeddah, Jebel Ali, Singapore and Kaohsiung.
   MISC is only a part of the Grand Alliance in the Asia/Europe/Med trade.
   “Following the successful implementation of this change, the GA intends to further enhance additional services through similar restructuring in the near future,” the carriers said in a joint statement.
