GREAT WHITE, DOLE EXPAND SAILING AGREEMEN

GREAT WHITE, DOLE EXPAND SAILING AGREEMEN    Great White Fleet Ltd., based in Cincinnati, and Dole Ocean Cargo Express Inc., based in Jacksonville, Fla., have amended their basic sailing agreement to permit reciprocal space chartering between the two carriers and to expand the scope of the agreement to include U.S. Gulf ports and ports in Costa Rica.
   Under a restated agreement filed with the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission, Great White Fleet will charter from Dole space for 100 forty-foot equivalent units per week in each direction between the U.S. and Central America. Dole will charter slots for about 40 FEUs per week from Great White in each direction. The agreement provides for a 250-FEU-per-week charter cap on each carrier.
   Under the expanded geographic scope of the agreement, the carriers will be operating between the U.S. Atlantic and Gulf ports and ports in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Honduras.
