GreenCarrier opening office in Sundsvall, Sweden
GreenCarrier, the logistics arm of the Swedish Bj'rk.Eklund Group, is opening an office in Sundsvall, roughly 400 kilometers (249 miles) north of Sweden’s capital, Stockholm.

“We have established that the market in and around Sundsvall wants a local player to handle its global business,” said Niklas Olsson, GreenCarrier’s managing director. “They want a single contact person and a service provider that takes overall responsibility for ocean transportation, warehousing and distribution.
“In recent years, this ‘One contact person — one responsibility’ type of service has become harder to find due to consolidation amongst the many smaller forwarding and logistics companies and the growing influence of the global players,” he said.
