Two fleet management services companies have teamed up to work on GPS fleet tracking aimed at helping drivers improve their operations.
GreenRoad, which offers driver performance management services, and GPS Insight, which provides GPS-based fleet tracking services for private companies and governments, are combining their efforts to produce a new set of products for enhancing driver performance, navigation, and asset tracking.
The new service, called GreenRoad Advanced Tracking, will provide GPS tracking services from Insight on GreenRoad’s existing performance monitoring devices. The devices will give fleet operators new ways to track and optimize performance metrics like fuel use.
The integrated solution will be available in the United Kingdom, United States and Canada by the end of the year.
