GT Nexus, Citi offer electronic invoice for ocean
Paperless invoice and bill processing are now available from GT Nexus after the supply chain software and connectivity provider teamed up with financial services giant Citi, which has adapted its electronic invoice software for the air cargo industry to the ocean environment.
The automated invoice system will standardize invoices, improve efficiency and reduce errors so that reconciliation and bill payment can occur faster for ocean carriers and their customers, the two companies said Thursday.
