GT Nexus picked by Phoenix

GT Nexus was picked by Phoenix International to provide cloud-based network services across the company’s global offices, agents, and customers.
Phoenix is one of the larger privately owned international freight forwarders, non-vessel-operating common carriers, and customs brokers in North America, counting 2,000 employees across 72 global offices and with annual sales of about $1 billion.
GT Nexus will provide support for about 250,000 ocean containers and 41,000 tons of air freight.
“We were drowning in manual processes and not getting the results we wanted,” said Terri Sandine, director of information systems at Phoenix.
GT Nexus will support business processes in logistics execution, documentation, and shipment visibility. It will extend some of Phoenix’s internal systems to the cloud and provide integration and partnering via the GT Nexus platform.
