Hamburg Sud, Alianca to raise rates
German ocean carrier Hamburg Sud and its Brazilian-flag subsidiary Alianca will raise rates on their services between Europe and the East Coast of South America by 50 euros ($64) per TEU, effective Oct. 1.
The carriers said the increase was “due to the sharp rise in operating costs.”
