The incident between the 5,551-TEU Hanjin Gothenburg and Chang Tong occurred at about 7:40 p.m. on Saturday some 41 miles north of Yantai.
Hanjin’s vessel is deployed on the weekly Asia/Europe Far East Express (FEX) service of the CKYH Alliance, comprising COSCO Container Lines, “K” Line, Yang Ming and Hanjin.
