Hanjin joins India/Far East Express

Hanjin joins India/Far East Express    Hanjin Shipping said it will join the India-Far East Express 2 service operated jointly by Pacific International Lines (PIL), 'K' Line and Shipping Corporation of India (SCI).
   Hanjin will join the service with the arrival of a ship in Xingang on Sept. 22.
   According to Hanjin Shipping, the service aims to serve the Indian market where demand continues to grow, and noted Busan will be added to the existing rotation in recognition of a comprehensive economic partnership agreement between Korea and India last August.
   “With this service, Hanjin Shipping will be able to expand its presence in India,” the company said. “Customers will be able to benefit from the company's timely introduction of the service corresponding to the economic development between the nations.”
   Rotation is Xingang, Dalian, Qingdao, Busan, Hong Kong, Shekou, Singapore, Port Kelang, Madras, Vizag, Singapore, Hong Kong and Xingang.
   There are five 2,500-TEU ships deployed in the service with PIL supplying twos hips and Hanjin, 'K' Line and SCI each supplying one.
