Hanjin launches new IT system
Hanjin Shipping said it has launched an advanced logistics information technology system Monday that is aimed at improving work efficiency and customer service.
Developed with Cyberlogitec and IBM, the Advanced Logistics Pathfinder System (ALPS) is a Web-based system that aims to improve the work process of the company's front offices with a variety of new functions including pre-checking of dangerous cargo, and unifying booking and bill of lading numbers. The new system can issue customized invoices and provide detailed information on container equipment.
