Hanjin receives its first tanker    Hanjin Shipping received its first tanker, a very large crude carrier of the 300,000-deadweight-ton class.

   The vessel was named Ras Tanura, after the major Saudi Arabian oil port, at a naming ceremony at Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan, South Korea.
   Hanjin is one of the largest containership operators in the transpacific and Asia/Europe trades. It operates 60 liner and tramper services worldwide, transporting more than 100 million tons of cargo annually. Hanjin’s fleet comprises 200 containerships, bulk and LNG carriers.
   'We will continue to expand our bulk business in order to optimize our business portfolio, which currently concentrates on container business,' said Joo-sik Yoon, Hanjin's deputy president, in a statement.
